Reconstructive Plastic Surgery
Reconstructive Plastic Surgery has as objective the reconstruction and repair of the uneven structures of the body owning to:
- genetic abnormalities
- injuries, diseases
- the process of ageing (uneven growing)
- tumors
Generally, the two types of patients that need reconstructive plastic surgery are the following:
- people with congenital abnormalities (distortion of limps etc.)
- people with developmental abnormalities (including those owing to an accident, an infection, a disease or ageing.
